[Guest Author: Gültekin Özkan]

Orhan keeps complaining “Your articles are a source of headache for the guy translating. The guy is a more technical guy, sometimes he can’t convey all your messages to the reader. That’s why your articles never make it to dailyautocad.com” So I decided I write something short and to the point. Maybe this makes it to Dailyautocad.com..
I wasn’t the one that found this, Hakan, one of my students that showed me. Who knows, maybe it was there since the earliest verions of AutoCAD, but I’ve personally seen it working on 2000+ versions. And Orhan, please get the part below translated. :)

Select a piece of drawing in AutoCAD.

While objects are selected (make sure they have grips)

Fig.3
After the object is selected (while the grips are still highlighted), move the cursor while holding down the right mouse button. An instance of the object will be moving around with the cursor. Place it as you wish by clicking.
(Pay attention! We did’t activate any commands :D)

Fig.4
Once you click anywhere to place the object, you will see a little menu. Well, as you can also read, they are quite self explanatory…
My best regards to everyone out there, have a wonderful time.
