Hello,

I’ll try to explain my SCRIPT generation methode in Microsoft Excel. In the attachment, you will find an XLS file and an example lisp file. Test.xls and Purgea.lsp.

First open the “test.xls

Click on yellow area! This runs the macro that create the script file.

Click on ‘Nee’! The text above means “Do you have a file with filenames” Nee = No

Click on the directory where the drawings are. In the same view find the lisp-file that you need. In my example lisp-file will purge all the drawings and set them to LAYER “0”.

The Excel-file makes automatically a script-file.

Give a file name. And after in AutoCAD via “Tools, etc…” , run your script!

The version of my Excel is 2000. It runs my macro perfect.

It takes aprx 20 mins to purge 300 drawing with my script.
At my Home I use Office 2007, and it don’t working! :)

The VBA of the Excel must be changed, but I don’t know how to do this?

Have a nice day.

    Hello Jackson,

Unfortunataly we can not distribute software from here. Please contact the Autodesk dealer in your country and ask them if you can get student version or not.

    Regards
