Architectural Desktop 2007
Programmers of Architectural Desktop 2007 ( ADT 2007 ) has hidden some treasure to secret places. As a result of attempting to simplify menus, these treasures are either overlooked or totally do not appear. Fortunately, there we are to show you and explain these features :) . AECINSPECT command is one of these features. You can enter into command line by writing as AECINSPECT. Besides, somehow, this special command is placed into the standard icon menu just between calculator and CUT command. As soon as you select this command, mouse cursor turns into object selection mode and opens up a small label on the screen that shows a short summary about the properties of the object (Fig. 1).

Fig. 1Yes, that’s all what the command does.
However, it is much more useful than LIST command and you can immediately take a look at the objects that you are drawing and obtain information about the object, its type and layers.

There are two properties displayed. Only layer property can be modified.
If you mean the contents of the label, nop it is not possible to change it.
