Quick Properties shows up right in the middle of the drawing!

Yes, I am determined to examine the Quick Properties window down to the tiniest detail. I’ve been talking about it for some days now. Perhaps you have started using it may be out of sympathy (or maybe frustration). Now that you have started using it, the first thing you notice is that it shows up right in the center of your selection.

You can change this from the little menu on the upper-right corner of the Quick Properties window.
First select ‘Float’ as the ‘Location Mode’ from the menu [1] and then click and drag from the upper left corner [2] for the fixed location.

From now on, your Quick Properties will show up on the designated place.
