Need a way to share your 3D and 2D DWG designs with others easily from within AutoCAD 2008? Do you want to hold real-time design review sessions? Do you need a way to gather design feedback from others who don’t have CAD Viewers installed?
Project Freewheel, available from Autodesk Labs, allows anyone to view and markup your AutoCAD designs using just their browser. You can conduct a design review in real-time where everyone in a sharing session sees the same view of your AutoCAD design along with the markups made by the participants.
The first step of the process is to get your design into Project Freewheel. Publishing your design from AutoCAD to Project Freewheel is also as easy as one click. Here’s a short 49 second video.

So give it a try. Download the Project Freewheel 3D/2D ShareNow utility and see for yourself with one click. At this time, the utility works with vanilla AutoCAD. We may extend it to other AutoCAD-based applications in the future. We’d love your feedback: Labs.Freewheel@autodesk.com. Once published, you and your team members can view your drawing without installing any additional software.
