AutoCAD 12 and higher versions
Hello dailyautocad readers,
Today, I would like to share a very useful tip with you. While working with AutoCAD, from time to time you may get use of points. These points can be the points that you use during dimensioning, or while using divide and measure command. Sometimes, these points become invisible in the drawing. The reason is the POINTSTYLE system variable.

From format menu, select the ‘Point Style…’ , then you can select any point type that you would like from the upcoming window.

There you go! Now, your points are visible.

Correction:
Command Line is correct with “DDPTYPE”.
Menu is correct with “Point Style …” .
But system variable is incorrect and should be “PDMODE”.
The system variable “PDSIZE” controls its size.
As a surveyor, I use these commands quite often.
