Autocad, Plotting, PrintoutGetting JPEG printouts
AutoCAd 2004 and higher versions
Hello Daily AutoCAD readers,
Today, I will try to explain about one of the most frequently asked questions. All together, we will take print-out from AutoCAD to JPEG.
First of all, we enter layout 1, thus printing Ctrl+P

Fig.1
Let’s select publish ToWeb Jpg among the file type to e saved/printer/plotter settings. Paper size is where we will determine the length of the project and the pixel settings. You can take plot from here even for very long architectural projects.
Let’s select the part of the drawing for which we will plot to JPEG by using window option. We can use fit to paper option to fit the area that we selected to 768*1024 picture size that we selected. Drawing orientation determines whether the drawing, thus picture, will be landscape or portrait. This means whether paper layout will be vertical or horizontal.

Next thing to do is to save our project by pressing OK as if we are printing from a plotter and select the file and file format by using Browse for Plot File. Save in is the file directory where you will save. By pressing save you can finish your saving operation.
Note: In JPG files that you plot, you may end up with some small roughnesses in the small edges of pictures. Or you may get some large images. I suggest that you select 768*1024 as pixel settings for your small projects. You can select larger sizes for larger projects.
Have a nice day…

Auto Cad when converted to Jpeg, the resolution is not good. Lets says when I need to print on Acrylic board, a better format is required, like Tiff etc. How to get a better resolution?
