Google, SoftwareEasy 3D modelling with Google SketchUp
Hi everyone,
Google must have learn’t that stopping is suicide for a commercial corporation, and is stopping nowhere. This is why we see something new from Google everyday. I don’t intend to advertise about Google’s news, but when it is about 3D and our good old SketchUp, I could hardly wait to write.

I don’t know when Google bought SketchUp or whether Bill Gates will get mad about it, but SketchUp enables you to form 3D models with a very simple user interface. You ought to take a look at it. As the name tells, it is a sketching program, but is managing to achieve a lot more.
- Simple modelling such as houses, decks etc.
- Adding textures such as wood, grass to the model.
- Placing your models on Google Earth.
- Sharing your models using the 3D Warehouse.
Once you pay for the Pro package, you can also;
- Export your models to CAD, photo editor or rendering software.
- Make videos and animations from your models.
- Get scaled prints.
I got to use it for a little while to get to know it better, and it works very well. You can also download it.
Where can I download it?
